As 2014 draws to a close, I thank God for the countless wonderful opportunities He has blessed me with and one of these is LEAP. LEAP has brought me teachable experiences far beyond any learning I could ever read in a book. My 2 years of Chairmanship have brought me immense growth, especially in the aspect of leadership. One may say that a Chairman’s job is easy. In many ways, it probably is. We thrive in the glory of recognition and may risk little (or much) in the process. However, in the grand scheme of things, what remains crucial in a Chairman’s job is how to strike that balance of introducing new dynamics and inspiring the team.
LEAP is a professional organization of Administrative Professionals. Its members are career women who meet on a regular basis in an atmosphere of confidentiality, trust, and openness to share in each other’s career, business, family and personal experiences. The Organization provides an ongoing opportunity to share and discuss with a group of peers all issues that arise from being an Administrative Professional.
