The Spinelli Treasures

LEAP Members visited children of the Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary ages one month to 18 years old at Tagaytay City on June 17, 2017. These little angels call themselves the “Spinelli Treasures.” The program included a short video film showing, art activity, cheering competition and parlor games.

LEAP members personally donated money to purchase and distribute loot bags containing school supplies kit and personal hygiene kit, as well as assorted sizes of disposable diapers. Companies like Usana Healthcare donated chewable vitamins and mineral water, Alaska Milk Corporation donated Alaska Choco and Alaska Sweet Milk and Tinker Brains Montessori School donated school supplies. Some LEAP members brought in personal donations like toys, toiletries, clothes, bags and shoes.

LEAP’s Chairman, Joji Domantay, celebrated her birthday and distributed candy loot bags to the Spinelli Treasures. After lunch, our birthday celebrator treated the LEAP members with drinks and desserts at Bag of Beans Restaurant.

It was a fun-filled event full of happy memories. LEAP members are looking forward to another wonderful experience of sharing their blessings to other people. Mother Teresa says: “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
