“Do something today that your future self will thank for.” As old as this cliché can get, the pursuit of financial security appears to be perpetual. While the fundamental principle of saving for retirement reached the awareness of a number of hardworking individuals, it still remains untapped in most corporate trainings and seminars. We, at LEAP, were fortunate to have been given an opportunity to leverage our financial literacy. We would like to thank again Mr. Kristoffer Anthony Patron, a financial advisor from Seedbox Philippines, for his substantial insights. He did not only encourage us to the first step but also challenged us to fulfill the life we envision when we retire.

Anna Ma. Margarita B. Dy, Filipino, is a Senior Vice President since January 1, 2015 and a member of the Management Committee of Ayala Land, Inc. since August 2008. She is the Head of the Strategic Landbank Management (SLMG) of ALI. She is also a director of Cebu Holdings, Inc., one of the publicly listed subsidiaries of ALI. Her other significant positions are: Director and Executive Vice President of Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation; Director and President of Nuevocentro, Inc., and Alviera Country Club, Inc; Director of Aurora Properties, Inc., Vesta Properties Holdings, Inc., CECI Realty, Inc., AyalaLand Medical Facilities Leasing, Inc., and Next Urban Alliance Development Corp.
Insights on Empowering Women in the Workplace
LEAP celebrated women and their triumphs in March! We recognize women’s ever-expanding significant role in society as we march on to the 21 st century. Our speaker for our March General Assembly, Noreen, of the Civil Service Commission, shared insights on gender equality which has become a prominent conversation across the globe, and how we should empower women in the workplace.
The Organized Activity Committee had its first successful event which was recently held at the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Muntinlupa Fire Station. The participants, some of whom came with family members, toured the facilities and were given the opportunity to learn basic first aid from expert members of the BFP’s Emergency Medical Services team.
LEAP is a professional organization of Administrative Professionals. Its members are career women who meet on a regular basis in an atmosphere of confidentiality, trust, and openness to share in each other’s career, business, family and personal experiences. The Organization provides an ongoing opportunity to share and discuss with a group of peers all issues that arise from being an Administrative Professional.
